It is surprising how quickly dust and dirt can build up on a monitor and colour monitors are even more susceptible to dust because of the high level of static electricity they produce

Every unit, however superfically clean in appearance, will be vacuumed if necessary.  After extracting the dirt which lies within ventilation ports, crevices and other catchment areas the cleaning and anti-static treatment starts, using 'damp' and 'dry' brushes.  (Cleaning solutions are never applied directly onto unit surfaces.)

The initial surface clean uncovers areas of ingrained dirt, gum residue and other problem areas.  In these instances a 'spotter' solution is applied.

'Mesh' screens are cleaned using a 'dry' brush to wipe away dirt.  No liquid is applied.
