IT Equipment & PC Cleaning
‘The levels of germs such as; viruses, bacteria, mould and fungi found on a typical computer keyboard can be up to 14 times higher than toilet seats.’
Your IT equipment is one of your company’s most important assets. It therefore makes good sense to keep it clean, free from dirt and bacteria and in good working order. Equally important is choosing the best company to clean it for you.
Techclean Services has been carrying out specialist IT equipment cleaning services since 1983 and has become an authority in this sector, backed up by a national network of 55 branches across the UK and Ireland.
Our clients range from FTSE 100 companies through to smaller businesses and encompass all sectors of the market. Our service is adaptable for any job - big or small.
Our unique cleaning fluids and equipment have been formulated over the last 25 years for their effectiveness in keeping our clients IT equipment clean. We use a range of products that are specifically designed to provide customers with a high quality service.
The spread of so called Super Bugs such as MRSA and other pathogens such as E.Coli and C.Difficile continues to receive regular national press coverage and could provide a major health and safety risk to you and your employees.
Following extensive testing we have recently launched our new specialist IT equipment anti microbial sanitiser called Byoclean which compliments our existing cleaning fluids. Byoclean is effective against a wide range of microbes such as bacteria, mould and fungi and viruses such as E.Coli, C.Difficile and MRSA. Byoclean is applied following our normal deep cleaning process and is available upon request.
Byoclean is unique to Techclean and is the only anti microbial sanitiser that has been tried and tested on IT equipment. All other providers to date, can only genuinely offer you an anti bacterial solution that will have no long term impact on controlling cross contamination.
How does Byoclean work?
Byoclean works by actually destroying the surface tension of germs which then prevents them from multiplying and spreading.
What are the benefits of using Byoclean?
- Kills germs on contact
- Forms an invisible, non greasy barrier on your IT equipment which will continue to work for up to 7 days after application.
- Non toxic and safe to use.
- Alcohol free which means that our wipes never dry out
- Proven to be effective against MRSA, Flu virus type A and other pathogens such as e-coil and C.difficile
We specialise in the cleaning of all types of IT equipment such as:

Flu Pandemic - How prepared are you?
The spread of Super Bugs such as Flu virus A, MRSA and other pathogens continue to receive regular national press coverage with government health agencies estimating that potentially 1 in 3 of the population will catch the current flu virus this year.
Should this materialise this will potentially present a major risk to you, your staff and your business.
Controlling the spread of cross contamination in your workplace will form an important foundation of any Business Continuity plan, and we are able to offer you helpful and straightforward advice on how to prepare, plan and manage an outbreak.
We have recently been working with a number of our clients on their Business Continuity Management (BCM) plans in preparation for the predicted Influenza Pandemic. We use BCM as robust, structured process which is designed to help you identify those parts of your business that you can’t afford to lose should an incident occur. Our key piece of advice is plan now, rather than wait for the incident to happen, as delays could result in you losing valuable business to your competitors or your existing customers losing confidence in you.
To implement a BCM you’ll need to consider the following;
- What are your key products and services?
- What are the critical activities and resources needed to deliver these?
- What are the risks to these critical activities?
- How will you maintain these in the event of an incident?
NOTE - There is an excellent downloadable document called the Business Continuity Management Toolkit published by H M Government specifically to help businesses prepare for an emergency. The link is below.
